We’re aware that some bin collections in Elmbridge and Mole Valley have been delayed in recent days. Crews are working hard to catch up, and collections are expected to be back on track very soon.
Elmbridge
Following a recent fire at a recycling site in Leatherhead, temporary tipping arrangements led to some missed collections. Crews began last week with a small backlog but have since made good progress, and the number of affected households has now reduced significantly. If your bin has been missed, please report it and leave it out ready for collection.
Mole Valley
Some collections last week and this week have been delayed due to reduced vehicle availability. The Mole Valley depot workshop is currently closed for repairs, which means fewer vehicles can be serviced on site.
If your bins are not emptied on your usual collection day, please report it and leave them out ready for collection.
Crews are working later than usual where possible to minimise disruption, and all collections due this week are expected to be completed by Saturday.
