Amey has reported that due to catching up on previous work and vehicle issue, some waste collections did not complete today in the borough.

• Rubbish collections – Manor Court, Oatlands Chase, Aspen Square, Gateway, Grenside Road, Old Palace Road, Victoria Road and Woodland Grove in Weybridge.
• Recycling collections – Bridge Street and Manor Road in Walton on Thames; Oatlands Avenue, Queens Road, Victoria Way and York Road in Weybridge.
• Garden waste collections – from Wednesday 8 July, in Claygate, Esher, Long Ditton and Thames Ditton; from Thursday 9 July, in Hersham, Walton on Thames, Weybridge, Whiteley Village Hersham; from Friday 10 July, in Cobham, Oxshott and Stoke D’Abernon; from today, in Shepperton, Walton on Thames and Weybridge.

Please be assured that our crews are working hard to catch up. If your bin hasn’t been collected, please leave it out and crews will return as soon as they can.

Due to the hot weather forecast this week, bin collection crews will be starting their rounds earlier than usual from Wednesday 8 July. To avoid any missed collections, please leave your bins outside by 6.00am this week.

Some bin deliveries are taking longer than planned. We are sorry if you are still waiting for a new or replacement container. We are working on delivering bins ordered during week commencing 22 June and are putting extra resource into deliveries to catch up.
