The planned bin collection strike action in Elmbridge and Surrey Heath has been cancelled today and will NOT take place.
The strike action had been planned for 5 and 6 November and 19 and 20 November by Amey’s bin collection crews who are members of the GMB Union. Residents should leave their bins out to be emptied as normal on these days.
The letter received by residents who would have been affected by the strike action can now be disregarded.
