A funeral is being held tomorrow, Tuesday 10 February, for a member of the Woking bin collection crew who sadly passed away recently. Several members of the crew will be attending to pay their last respects to a much-loved colleague and friend.
While crew members from other areas will be covering their rounds, please be aware there may be some disruption to rubbish, food, garden and bulky waste collections tomorrow in Woodham, Pyrford, Maybury, Sheerwater, and Woking Town Centre. This also applies to anyone expecting a clinical waste collection in Mole Valley that day.
If your bin is not collected, it will not be possible to report this as a missed collection. Instead, please leave your bin outside in its usual place ready for the crew who will return on Wednesday (11 February) to empty uncollected bins from the day before.
There could potentially be a knock-on effect for collections after Tuesday, with catch up rounds in operation on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, if needed. We will provide daily updates on this page of our website to keep you informed.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding over the coming days.
