Due to the national shortage of HGV drivers the garden waste collection service in Mole Valley is suspended until Friday 30 July.
Amey have confirmed that it will not be possible to catch up on the garden waste collections missed last week, therefore you will need to take your bins in if they have been put out.
You don’t need to report it as a missed collection. Your garden waste subscription account will be credited to compensate for missed collections, but please do renew it as normal to ensure there is no break in service.
We’re sorry about this inconvenience. We’re working hard to reinstate the service as soon as possible and we’ll communicate with our subscribers regarding next steps shortly. You can find out more about the driver shortage here.
You might also want to think about composting your garden waste at home. There is lots of information and advice about this on the Surrey Environment Partnership website.
If you are self-isolating with symptoms of coronavirus, please read our guide on how to deal with your waste.
