Amey has reported that some food waste recycling rounds did not complete today in parts of Ashtead. If you live in Broadhurst or Overdale, please leave your food bin outside ready to be emptied tomorrow morning (Wednesday 25 June).
Bin collections have returned to their usual time. Please put your bins outside by 6am.
If your bin hasn’t been collected by 4pm, please report missed collections on the Joint Waste Solutions website.
Scam in Ashtead
We have been alerted to reports of a scam that’s being carried out in Gray’s Lane, Ashtead involving somebody posing as a ‘waste loader’ requesting money for a sponsored charity sky dive to raise money for a sick child. If you suspect a scam, you can call Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or report it via their website.
